Dear World,
As I embark on a trip of a lifetime I have decided, unlike explorers before me, that sending postcards everyday to various places around the western hemisphere to document details of my travels was costly and inefficient. So, being the 20th century, I plan to document my discoveries in one easily accessible place -- This blog! I hope that you find my accounts of the world outside informative and occasionally entertaining. It is now T minus five days until my departure for Tours, France and my excitement knows no bounds!
